Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club kicked off their 2018-2019 Spaghetti Dinner program, which feeds over 100 Club members ranging from ages 5-18. Local restaurant Da Corrado Ristorante donated the food each Thursday in support of PNBGC.
The program has been serving Club members for over 7 years.
“We are eager to see how we can grow this program by bringing businesses in to provide meals for the various Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club members. The students are thankful for community partners like Da Corrado Ristorante because it allows us to show our Club members the various eating options in their community as well as provide a delicious meal to those in attendance,” Brad Parr, PNBGC Club Director said. “We have served spaghetti every Thursday the past few years and we are looking to introduce new our Club members to different meals.”
Parr said the Club aims to provide students with a diverse menu for this year’s after school program where we have served up to 130 students in a single day.
“The students often come into the Club on Thursday eager for the meal that has been prepared for them,” he shared.
