PETE NANCE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

JANUARY HIGHLIGHTS

BRAD PARR, CLUB DIRECTOR

During the month of January, we have been able to begin new staff-led programs such as DIY STEM, All Stars, and Image makers. ALL STARS engage Club members 6-18 years in high-quality organized flag football, basketball, and soccer programs. DIY STEM is a hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly. Image Makers is a year-round program that helps Club members ages 6-18 learn the art and science of photography through multiple categories: Culture and Tradition, Portraits, Nature and Surroundings, Fashion and Style, and Editing and Filter. Photographs are displayed at local and regional exhibits around the world. Adding new programs. By implementing these programs, we are able to create a Club experience for our students that focuses on developing well-rounded individuals. Our Club members have the opportunity to experiment with different types of programs so they can find new passions and/or hobbies that can impact their future. Programs are the bread and butter of what we do at the Club, and they play a large role in what our members learn each day. We look forward to implementing new programs for our Club members throughout this upcoming year.
