Madison-Morgan County Boys & Girls Club held a family fun-filled Fall Festival for parents and Club members recently. Families and members enjoyed food, games and prizes during the festival.
Members were able to introduce their parents to their friends and the activities they have been active with inside the Club.
“It is important that each family knows each other to create a family and village culture with each other,” Tabitha Lowe, Madison-Morgan County Boys & Girls Club Program Director. “It is also important that parents and families are able to see what their children are a part of and are participating in each day at the Club.”
Club member Stephen Warren, a third grader, said, “I have fun at the fall festival and my mother was very excited too.”
“The food was good and my brother, my mom and my sister all came to see me. We all love the Club,” Xavier Smith, fifth grader, said.
Lowe said family is so valuable to a child’s life and development. And, we believe that the support from the Club and family will increase the outcome of future success for our youth.
