"Building Great Futures Together"
If you’ve been looking for ways to get involved locally with Madison-Morgan Boys & Girls Club, then here’s your chance.
As a part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National campaign, Lowe’s is partnering with Madison-Morgan’s local club to build greater futures together.
The campaign will help generate funds that will directly impact the local club’s growth and programs geared toward helping the community prosper together.
From August 8 until September 5, Madison’s Lowe’s will be hosting an in-store fundraising campaign where customers are invited to donate $1, $5 or $10 at the register.
Employees at the local store understand first hand the impact Madison-Morgan Boys & Girls Club has on its youth.
Store clerk Elinda Binion’s son is a Boys & Girls Club alumni and she says she couldn’t be more excited about the partnership.
“My son learned how to be leader and become the young man he is today because of the Boys & Girls Club,” Binion said. “It’s amazing what my company, Lowe’s, is offering our community through this effort.”
For Human Resource Manager, Roger Jones, a parent, the ties to Boys & Girls Club runs deep.
“Lowe’s strives for every opportunity to be a part of our community we live in,” Jones said. “Working with the Madison-Morgan Boys & Girls Club allows us to do just that – give back.”
Jones said the youth of Madison need a safe foundation to grow from and the Boys & Girls Club offers Madison this space to thrive in.
Bob Mackey, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Georgia said “these are the kinds of partnerships we need to continue the life-long work of making a lasting impact on our youth.”
Serving more than 1,400 youth from Morgan, Walton, Greene and Newton, BGCNCG’s vision is to provide a world-class experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors.
